Your account, purchases, and progress

We store your email address and purchase information to manage your account, confirm your purchases, and provide access to your selected certifications.

When you use your account, we also save your learning activity, including your practice answers, study progress, and mock-exam results. This lets you continue where you left off, review your performance, and follow your progress across devices.

Payments and card details are handled by Stripe. ECP keeps the purchase records needed to manage your access, but does not store full card numbers or security codes.

Why we use information

We use this information to create and secure accounts, verify email addresses, save learning progress, provide Community features, fulfil purchases, manage access and renewal, send service messages, answer enquiries, prevent abuse, and understand how the website is used.

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, processing relies on performance of the service agreement, legal obligations, legitimate interests such as security and service improvement where appropriate, or consent where required. This policy does not itself obtain consent.

Cookies and browser storage

ECP uses cookies and browser storage for sign-in, verification, checkout continuity, practice ordering, and related site functionality. The website also loads Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to measure visits and interactions, such as opening practice material or selecting a plan. These services may use cookies and other identifiers.

You can manage cookies and stored site data through your browser settings. Blocking or deleting essential storage may sign you out or disrupt checkout and other features. For Google’s handling of information, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Service providers and visibility

Hosting and email infrastructure support website operation and service messages. Stripe processes payments, and Google provides analytics and tag-management services. These providers receive the information needed for their functions. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy for its payment-data practices.

Community contributions and usernames are visible to members who can access the relevant discussion. Avoid including private or sensitive information in a contribution. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims.

Providers may process information outside your country. Applicable data-protection requirements, including safeguards for international transfers where required, continue to apply. Contact us for details relevant to your information.

Retention and security

Retention depends on the purpose of each record, including maintaining your account and saved progress, fulfilling access, responding to support requests, handling payment disputes, and meeting legal obligations. Paid access expiring does not automatically delete your account or progress. Backups, security records, and records needed for legal or payment matters may need to be retained after a deletion request.

We use measures such as password hashing, access restrictions, and session controls to protect information. No online service can promise absolute security.

Your privacy requests

Email hi@examcertpro.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, or to ask about its use. Depending on applicable law, you may also have rights to restriction, objection, data portability, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on it, and a complaint to a relevant data-protection authority.

We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some requests are subject to legal exceptions, including records we must retain. Do not send your password or card details with a request.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as the service or its data practices change. The effective date appears above; material changes will be communicated where required.
